Choosing content for the exchange
Pick the posts your site offers to the network, in bulk or one at a time.
Nothing leaves your site on its own. The posts, pages and custom post types you offer to the network are picked in the plugin, and there are two ways to do it.
In bulk
Traffman → Settings → Exchange content lists your content with a checkbox on every row, filters by post type and by text, and a Show only selected posts switch for reviewing what is already shared. Tick what you want to offer and press Save selected posts.
One post at a time
While editing a post, the sidebar has a Traffman options panel with a single Use in content exchange checkbox. With it ticked, saving the post sends it to the exchange; clearing it and saving takes the post out of the exchange again.
Either way the content is pushed to the service the moment the post is saved, not on a schedule.
What exactly is sent
The Common tab of the settings decides how much of a post travels: Export post content priority offers Excerpt, if exists, otherwise content or Only content.
Validation
Being pushed is not the same as being accepted. Every item that reaches the service goes through automatic validation, and only what passes it is offered to other members.
The outcome is visible per item in the Content list of your client: open Clients, pick the client and press Content list. Each row carries its address, title and language, and one of three states – Valid, Invalid, or Not processed yet while the check is still pending.
The plugin keeps its own tally on the Main page: how many items are selected for the exchange, pushed, queued, valid and not valid.
